Notes on a Message Board

The information I have came from Dulce Everidge. Her father was Charlie H. Everidge, who was the son of Loucinda, and Elisha M. Everidge. Who was the son of Solomon Everage. and Catherine Ison.

George W Everidge, sent for Charlie and wife Mary Ann Shannon Everidge, and children Ernest, Vina, Troy, Virgie, Howard, and Dulce. They came by cover wagon to Terrant Co Texas.

Charlie H Everidge, had a brother named Solomon Everidge, he died in Ark, his wife was Hattie Everidge, he was a preacher in Mt. View Ark.

My father was, Lewis A Evridge born 1892, his father was Elijah Andrew Everidge Kty Oct, 14-1848 wife Mary Francy Juett 12-12-1859, lived in Blueridge Texas. His father was Gideon Everidge born 2-8-1825 Kty. And went to Ark, he had a brother John Everidge 1826 born Kty, went to Ark. And my GGrandfather was Solomon Everidge, And his father was Abner. So that is how I come into this picture.

Lot of Everidge's came to Texas, and we have a lot of Cousin still living their. Some of the Everidge's were married to Choctaw Indians. And were over in the Hugo area, in Choctaw Co where the old Everidge log house still is standing it was built back in the 1800's. by Thomas Willie Everidge. My father said that Martin Van Buren Everidge born 1860 (Dock) who father was Joel W Everidge. Dock was my father's cousin.

So the Everidge from Kty, and Ark, Okla. and Texas, are Kin in one way or they other.

Dulce was just a sweetheart, and was sweet enough to send me picture's of Loucinda, Charlie, Solmon, and more. She lived in Texas, and still has people in and around where she lived. Dulce said that Loucinda walk from Kty to Ark.

I Know that Loucinda, was Choctaw Indian. And quite a few Everidge men were married to Choctaw Indians, and has lived with then back in Mississippi. around 1831 or before maybe a birth certificate for Charlie or Solmon, see where they were born, and start their, I think they were born in Kty. I hope this helps you in some way I know that Abner, rasied the two boys Solomon, and Joseph, in the Choctaw Nation.
