Marriages
Edna Mabel Ison married Woody Smith on 06 Mar 1930 at Bates County, Missouri. [1] Woody passed away in 1954. Children:
Donna Bell Smith ~1937, married a Deam (according to Adrian Fitzgerald's obit)
Edna M Smith, age 45, married Adrian R Fitzgerald, age 50, on 25 Feb 1956 at LaFayette County, Missouri. [2]
She and Woody were living at 1348 So Dodgion, Independence at the time of Woody's death in 1954. She and her second husband, Adrian Fitzgerald, continued to live in the house, and Adrian passed away there in 1974. Adrian previously lived up the street at 510 No Dodgion in 1942.
E Mabel Smith Fitzgerald passed away on 17 Oct 1992 and is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Independence, Jackson County, Missouri. [3]
Note: Edna was the mother of a child, born Betty Jean Ison on 01 Aug 1925, with her neighbor, Buford R Brown. They were not married, and the child was adopted by the Fravil family of Kansas City.
