David Ison was born in the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)
David Levi Ison was born on 16 February 1878 in Mogo, Colony of New South Wales, son of Levi Ison (1844–1924) and Tryphena Mary Lavis (1852–1896). [1]
David and Clara Caroline Thomsen were married on 17 July 1902 in Moruya, New South Wales, Australia. Clara was born on 26 August 1880 in Buckenbowra, New South Wales, Australia. She was the daughter of Adolph Joseph Thomsen and Mary (Sebbens) Thomsen.
Their children were:
- Mervin David Mervyn Ison (1903–1981)
- Victor Walter Ison (1905–1978)
- Essie Clara Ison (1908– )
- Claude Henry Ison (1910–1988)
- Allie Leslie Ison (1915–2000)
David passed away on 3 July 1947 in Batemans Bay, New South Wales, Australia.[2]
