Note: Basil Israel was a Lieutenant in the Revolutionary War in Maryland. He and his wife moved to Ohio sometime after 1790. Ohio was not yet a state when they moved to Belmont County and bought a lot in St. Clarisville, Ohio on November 9, 1803 and 400 acres of land in Muskingum, Ohio on November 2, 1807.
