DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Jeff by comparing test results with other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Jeff:

Hello Jeff, while updating profiles in my (extensive) Lunt family I came across your several profiles for Tryphena Lunt, dau of John Lunt of Scarborough and then Woodstock, Maine and her husband William Cotton, Jr.. Since I was reconciling several John Lunts of Maine, who lived about the same time, I went ahead and added detail from Lapham's 'History of Woodstock, Maine' in the sprit of helping future descendants of this particular Lunt family not get mixed up over the same name 'issue'. Hope you have a great year - see you around in WikiTree :-) Leigh Anne

Hi Jeff, I'm not very au fait with Wiki yet and came across a direct descendant of mine on your page but can't find out what connection he is to you! He is GEORGE IRELAND b. 1662 @ Newton Tony, Wiltshire, UK.

Perhaps you could let me know? Regards Joyce Byers

Hi ,

On behalf of the Connectors Project Leaders, we are doing a six-month check-in with members. Please let us know if you are still active. If you are active, please let us know in which ways you are currently contributing to the project.

All of us at WikiTree would like to thank you for your contributions and hope that you are enjoying exploring your roots.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Michelle ~ Volunteer Coordinator

I'm still active, although not as active as I had been in the past. I still look for loose ends and try to find a way to tie them to someone with connections so that the overall tree is more connected.

Thanks Jeff for trusted list access to Paul Lesuer! Very much appreciated and I hope I can find a direct link to my husband's family!

Many thanks, Cindy

Hey we are connected via Hans Johannes Treumer born in 1838. I have some questions/remarks that his mother was Fredrica Breum/Bremer but perhaps his father was married twice? I see that his father Nicolaus´date of birth was in 1794 but myself having him at 1806. Furthermore I see also correctly that he was born in northern part of Germany but moving somehow to the southern parts of Germany where his children were born but incorrectly for Hans Johannes who was born in Denmark.

There should probably be a link for the Treumers to Bavarian thus scavenged it for years now. For the moment I keep to my pet theory that they came from Fehmern via two brothers, Hans born in 1775 and Andreas in 1783. However I will really adore this Bavarian connection, Also searched onto the sources of MormonDataba

Jeff,

Would you use a more specific Category on Williams-38366 than just Category:New York. The New York Project is trying to clean up this High Level Category.

Thanks, LtCol G. Moore

Thanks for the mergers. If only it was this easy back in the early 1500's in England.

Hi Jeff, you proposed a merge on Emily profile. I misread the document you posted. I understand now it is for a daughter not for Emily. My bad. I will try to change it back to a merge. Sorry for the mistake

Congratulation for adding your contributions in December. Whatever the quantity of your contributions, they all count. As we always say "Quality is better than quantity" to make a great family tree.

Hi, Jeff. Did you know that (although the location suggestions borrowed from FamilySearch include it), there is still widespread agreement here at WikiTree that "British Colonial America" should not be used here? See https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/330527/british-colonial-america-strikes-its-ugly-head-again and https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/330181/did-you-see-the-automatic-suggestions-for-place-names

Jeff, is there a reason you're removing the word "county" from place names in profiles that I have created? I use it for clarity. Is there a help file or g2g reference I can look at that specifies that the word county should not be used? Or is this part of the Db_Errors project? You might want to leave explanations where you are making changes to profiles on which you're not a manage so that we know *why* you're making the change.
