Enos was a soldier of the American Revolution. In 1777, he served as a Private in Colonel James Mead's Regiment of Militia and in Captain Claghorn's Company while scouting after Tories and guarding the captives.[13]
The 1800 census confirms the Ives' residence as Cornwall, Addison County, Vermont.[14]
Enos Ives passed away after 1810 at Cornwall, Addison County, Vermont.[6] The location of his grave is not known.[15]
