Miles Ives migrated to New England during the Puritan Great Migration (1621-1640). (See The Directory, by R. C. Anderson, p. 180) Join: Puritan Great Migration Project Discuss: pgm
[Note: Grace Buttry, was his step daughter: born about 1634, daughter of Nicholas and Martha (unk) Bettry/Buttrice. Genealogical Notes and Errata in: The New England Historical and Genealogical Register, Volume 27, NEHGS, Boston, Massachusetts, 1873, p. 139 incorrectly states Grace died in child bed on November 8, 1649; married William Healey/Heley in 1643. GM shows this marriage but in 1653, as does Cambridge VR, so both dates are incorrect.]
