Biography
Rodney Wayne Ives was born in Duluth, Minnesota on December 19, 1942. He was raised in rural Duluth about 35 miles from town. He served in the United States Navy from 1960-1966 and was a Vietnam Veteran. He married 3 times, the first to Doris Impola. Together they had 2 children. In his 2nd marriage to Robin (Meyers) Wessman, he adopted and raised his grandson. He married his 3rd wife, Eva (Nelson) Stearns in Dec of 2004. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed watching wildlife. He died in March of 2020.
