Biography

Resided in Ivy Lea, Ontario on the shore of the St. Lawrence River. The hamlet was named after John Ivey's son, John Ivey, Jr. who was the first postmaster there. The family arrived from Ireland between 1829 and 1835 (based on reported birth places and years of children) and resided in the Leeds Co. Area.

Interment in St. John's Cemetery
