Stephen Ivey was born in Cornwall, England.

Stephen Ivey was born about 1702 in St Merryn, Cornwall, England, son of Stephen (Ivey) Ivy (~1670 - <1735) and Katherine (Stribly) Stribley (<1672 - ~1747). 'He was Christened on 14 APR 1702 at St Merryn church. [1]

His siblings were:

  1. Elizabeth (Ivey) Ball (1694 - 1756)
  2. Martha (Ivy) Eplet (1696 - ~1745)
  3. John Ivey (1699 - 1739)

Stephen married Elizabeth Brewer (1719 - 1809) on 12 Jun 1739 in St Ervan, Cornwall.[2]

Their children were:

  1. Stephen Ivey (<1742 - 1772)
  2. Martha (Ivey) Morcombe (1752 - 1789).

Stephen died in 1773 in St Ervan aged ~71 and was buried on 7 JAN 1773. St Merryn, Cornwall.
