DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Adam by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Adam:

I have put this Adam Ivey under Henry Ivey Jr, but I'm still not sure that is correct. Because it says Adam was born in South Carolina, and Henry Ivey Jr never left Southampton, Virginia. More research is needed to determine if this is the correct Adam. I have not fully researched the children of Henry Ivey Jr.

I'm thinking this Adam is the son of Henry Ivey Jr (son of Henry Ivey Sr and Rebecca Sledge) and not the son of Ephraim Ivey. Ephraim's son, Adam, may have been married to Margaret Pennington, with a son, named Albert.
