Biography

Mary, born about 1780, was the daughter of Ralph Izard Jr. and Elizabeth Stead of South Carolina. She married first John Julius Pringle and had a son John Julius Izard Pringle before Pringle's death in 1807. She married second on 24 October 1833 Joel Roberts Poinsett (d. 1851). Mary died about 1858.
