Research Notes
Confusion of Identity with Sister
Ann is often confused with her sister Hannah [Anna], how both girls are mentioned in their mother's will as follows:[9]
"my daughter Ann the wife of William Harry of Redruth in the said county plasterer"
"my daughter Hannah the wife of the said John Stephens".
Date & Place of Birth
It is not known when Ann was born however the current theory is that she was born 1800 based on the following
she is thought to have died between the 1871 census and 1881 in 1880,
there is an Ann Harry who died in 1880 at the age of 80, which is most likely our Ann Jacka (this makes her birth date 1800).[10]
