John was born in 5 May and baptised on 22 August in 1909, in Towednack, the son of John Jacka and Matilda Williams residing in Lady Downs in Zennor.^{[1] [2] [3]}

John's marriage to Gladys V Toy was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1928 in the Redruth district.^[5] John Jacka living with his family at Tangyl Rd, Carn Brea, Camborne-Redruth, Cornwall, England.^[6]

John was buried on 17 February 1966 in Illogan, Cornwall, England.^[7]

Research Notes

According to his baptismal records, he was born on 5 May 1905 however in the 1939 Register his birthdate was recorded as 30 May 1905. It is likely he has misremembered his birthdate rather than this being two different people.
