Research

Elizabeth’s birthdate.
There is some confusion concerning Elizabeth's birth date as her gravestone and death certificate state that the year of her birth was 1837, however it is more likely that she was born in 1838 as this is when her birth was offically registered with the Government Records Office in England.[6] [7] [8] The year of 1838 is consistence with her baptism a month after her birth in Conrwall and tha age given in hte 1851 Canadian census.[9]
