Research Notes
- I started a dive into this family because there was a Catherine Jackman who married my ancestor Hugh Logan as his second wife. I located a non-burial FindAGrave entry for Margaret Underwood. However it is not without problems. First, it gives Fauquier as POB. That country did not exist in 1740 which is the date given. It gives Underwood as married name, no details. That said the parents Thomas and Hester seem to line up. No children. Place of death is North Carolina 25 Aug 1793. -- Liane Smith
- See also this profile for John Underwood, born bef 1802. Reading this profile is appears Margaret married the grandson of John John Underwood II (bef.1702-aft.1740)
