Biography

Esther was born in 1808. She is the daughter of Isaac Jackson and Betsey Bessey. [1]

There is a cemetery card in the Nathan Hall Collection[2] which informs us that her father died 1 Oct 1845, that her husband's name was Onchard Crommett, and that they married about 1828. However, it doesn't precisely stipulate that either of them died or were ever buried. This all took place - or didn't - in Belfast, Waldo, Maine, suggesting that Esther spent her entire life there.

On the other hand, there is a FindAGrave Memorial[3] that stipulates her husband is Nathan G. Crummett, and that Esther died in 1839, was buried in the Sand Hill Cemetery in Somerville, Lincoln, Maine, and left behind one child, Orchard!, born in 1835.

Esther maried Nathan G. Crummett on 22 Jan 1835 in Washington, KNox, Maine.[4]
