Biography

An obituary from The Gloversville Leader on Wednesday, June 24, 1908 reads

"Richard King Jackson. The funderal of Richard King Jackson was held from the family home, No. 71 East Fulton street, yesterday afternoon. Rev. Chester F. Ralston, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiated and there were a number of handsome floral tributes, among which were pieces from the former associates of the deceased in the employ of the M. L. Schwartz Company, the Little Beginners of the First Baptist church, and the Primary union. The bearers were relatives, as follows: Charles A. Buchanan, A. Austin Buchanan and Harry Sauter of Amsterdam, and Charles A. Marriott, Jr., of Gloversville. Burial was made at Prospect Hill."
