Xenia Daily Gazette Tues. Nov. 23, 1897 P.3

Editor Gazette: Inasmuch as there have been some , who did not know which family the Elmer Daughters, who lost his life on the railroad here, belonged to, at the request of the family and for the benefit of friends at a distance, I send you the following , hoping you will make room for it in the columns of your valuable paper. Elmer was the son of Nancy Daughters, who for 20 years was a well-known carpet weaver of Xenia , and who last spring removed to West Carrollton, Ohio, to live with her granddaughter , Mrs. James Bell. He leaves two sisters, Mrs. Thomas Hargrave, of West Carrollton, and Mrs. Morris Quirk of Xenia, also one half sister and two half brothers, as follows: Mrs. Dan Pritchard, of Xenia; Frank, of Dayton , O, and Will Daughters of near Waynesville, Warren County. He was an uncle of Conductor William Daughters, of this city. The widow and the mother wish through the Gazette, to thank the railroad boys and the employees of the Hooven & Allison works, for their beautiful floral gifts. D.R.P.
