Georgia Lee Jackson Harding Hiatt, 77, peacefully passed away with family by her side after a valiant 20 year battle with cancer. She was born September 15, 1937 in San Jose, California to John William Jackson and Viola Preader Gardner. She married Donald E. Harding later divorced and married Ted G. Hiatt on June 12, 1976. was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed painting, traveling with her husband and family, and was an avid fan of the Utah Jazz and HGTV. She loved her Children, and wanted to protect them like a Mama Bear. She was the rock her Children depended on. She was a person of courage and strength, through tragedy and sickness, and hard times, of which She experienced much, in her life. When her second Husband Ted came into her life, he was the Person She needed. He was an angel, and gave her the love and caring and good life, She deserved.

She is survived by her Husband Ted, Children Debra L. (Earl) Gragg, Donald E. Harding, and Leslie A. (Douglas) Rowe; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; sister Sharon L. (Mike) Church, as well as step-children Debbie Hiatt (Blair) Jurgensmeier, Connie Hiatt (Dave) Neal, and Kathy (Richard) Einsenbies.

Preceded in death by her father John Jackson and mother Viola Gardner, daughter Lori Ann, and brothers John/Jack Jackson, James Jackson, Ken Jackson, and step-daughter Bonnie Benson.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Oquirrh 4th Ward, 5208 W. Cyclamen Way, W. Jordan. Friends may call on Tuesday, July 7 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the church and also on Wednesday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens in Sandy, Utah.
