Biography

Jonathan was born in 1781. He is the son of Increase Jackson and Phebe Lapham. He married Margaret Simson. In 1850, at age 71 he is living with his son-in-law and daughter, Archibald and Mary Ann Whipple at Moreau, Saratoga, New York and five year's later with his younger son George and family.

The 1850 census lists his birthplace as Connecticut.
