Robert Jackson was born in about 1844 in Donaghmore, County Down, Ireland.
Robert Henry Jackson came out to South Australia when he was 14 years old. He was from County Down in Ireland in a place called Donaghmore in the north and they were as orange as they come.
He departed from Plymouth UK on the 14th October 1857 and arrived on the 1st Feb 1858 on a vessel called the Stamboul. He travelled with his brother John Jackson, aged 20.
He and John Jackson spent three or four weeks with their uncles living in Gumeracha (Possibly his uncle William and cousin Samuel. John then went to St Kitts. Robert may have travelled with him at that time or came later.
Robert married Eliza Simms on 6 December 1865 in Truro, South Australia at age 21. They had eleven children, five daughters and six sons.
In about 1876, he moved to Sutherlands to farm. He was a member of the Eudunda District Council.
Robert Jackson died 5 October 1905, in Sutherlands, South Australia and was buried at Eudunda.
I believe that Samuel Jackson , Sarah Jane Jackson, Mary Jackson, William George Jackson and Rebecca Jackson are siblings, and that they are related to (but not siblings of) John Jackson and Robert Jackson.
I have not seen any mention of his having the middle name of Henry.

They were returning to their home at Sutherlands, through Dutton. When reaching the Pine Creek, the scene of the disaster, Mr Jackson not thinking of the water which lies at the bottom of the creek, and which is hidden from view by two high embankments until one is right on it, let his horses slowly jog along He had reached the ford when one of the horses, a young one, spied the water and shied, jumping so much to the side that it went over the ford about three or four feet deep pulling the trap with it. The trap capsized and threw Mr and Mrs Jackson into the creek below. The accident was seen by a little girl, who at once rushed off for help, which quickly arrived. After picking up Mrs Jackson, who, though not badly hurt, received a severe shaking and several bruises. Willing helpers, after some trouble, soon extricated the horses, one of which was very much cut about the legs, and righted the trap. The trap was considerably broken, but was, however, soon repaired, and got ready, for the continuance of the journey. Mr Jackson luckily escaped without injury other than a shaking, and a thorough covering all over with mud. The aged couple continued their journey, and their escape from serious injury was a miraculous one, and will not easily be forgotton.”
