Biography

Dollie Florence Jackson was born 3 Jul 1895 on the family farm on Rt. 16 between Big Springs and Smithville in Calhoun County, West Virginia. Her parents were Albert H. Jackson and his wife Hannah Jane Belford. [1]

Died 16 Aug 1977. Grantsville, Calhoun Co., West Virginia. [2]

Buried Bethleham Cemetery, Calhoun Co., West Virginia. [3]

Mrs. Dollie Garretson.
GRANTSVILLE - Mrs. Dollie Garretson, 82, of Grantsville, died Tuesday in Calhoun General Hospital, Grantsville, after a long illness.
She was a member of the Knotts Memorial United Methodist Church, Royal Neighbors Lodge and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving: son, James of Grantsville; daughter. Mrs. Juanita Reese of Nitro; sister, Mrs. Geraldine Cunningham of Parkersburg.
Service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with the Rev. Carroll McCauley officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery, Grantsville.
Friends may call today from 2 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
