William Fidelis Jackson was born June 1, 1939, in Iowa City, Iowa. He was the son of Fidelis Schooley Jackson and Margarett Valeria Brodersen. William served his country by joining the United States Navy. On January 26, 1973, he was united in marriage with Faith M. Pieper in Morrison, Illinois. He worked as a printer at the Clinton Herald and the Tri-Cities Herald, Kennewick, Washington. He also worked at Champion Packaging and later at the Community Care Inc. William attended Clinton Community College. William enjoyed photography, fishing, hunting, being an amateur radio operator and spending time with his grandchildren. He died on 12 Jan 2008 in Olin, Jones, Iowa.
