Charles was christened 25 Dec 1815 to Thomas Jackson and Maria Hall at Walsall's St. Matthew Parish Church. His father's occupation is Plater, and they are living on High Street.
In about 1841, Charles married Emma Kirby. They had at least six children, all born in Birmingham. Charles was a Horse Collar Maker and Emma made men's clothes.
In about 1859, they moved to Leeds, Yorkshire, where Charles continued to make Horse Collars but where Emma became a registrar.
In 1880, Charles passed away at age 61 in Leeds.
