Biography

US Black Heritage Project
Victoria (Jackson) Hubbard is a part of US Black heritage.

Victoria was the daughter of Thomas and Adeline Jackson. Her father was born in Kentucky and her mother in Alabama. She was age 14 and living in their household in Walker County, Texas in 1870.[1]

Victoria married Lewis Hubbard in 1874.[2]

In 1880 the census taker enumerated the family of Thomas and Adeline Jackson immediately before the family of Lewis and Victoria Hubbard.[3]

She is enumerated as Victoria Hubbard in the 1920 Census for Houston County, Texas. [4]

Her name is given as Victoria Smith in the death records of some of her children; i. e. son Lyle.[5]
