DEATHS.
Near Etam. Preston county, January 9, 1893, Mrs. Mary Shahan, in her 54th year. She leaves a husband and six children to mourn her loss. She was a constant member of the M. E. church from her youth until she died. She was buried in the old Mountain cemetery. Our prayer is that her companion and children may be prepared to meet her in heaven.
“T’was sad to see her breath her last.
But Jesus lovingly said, Come;
Now her sufferings are all past,
And her sweet spirit rests at home.
