Joseph was born 5 May 1745, in Scituate, Massachusetts. He is the son of Joseph Jacobs and Mary Foster. [1][2]

On 8 November 1780, Joseph married Hannah Eells, daughter of North Eells and Ruth Tilden, in Scituate, Massachusetts.[3][4][5]

Joseph died at age 55 on 14 June 1811, in Scituate, Massachusetts.[6]
