Biography

Martha was born in 1739. She passed away in 1769.

She married Jacob Finch, Jr. on 22 December, 1757 in Sharon, Litchfield, Connecticut Colony. Their childen were Comfort Finch (1757-1820), Foster Finch (1758–1843), Reuben Finch (1759-), Elizabeth (Finch) Lapham (1765–1844) and Ezekiel Finch (1769–1848).

Martha passed away after 10 January, 1769 in Fredericksburg, Dutchess, Province of New York followed with burial.

There are no primary sources currently available online for Martha. A credible family tree posted online says that she was born in Nine Partners in Dutchess County, New York.[1] Today That tree, created by Paul R. Finch, also says that she married Jacob Finch on December 22, 1757 in Sharon, Connecticut.

Martha's children were all born in Fredericksburg, Dutchess, County.[1] Today the town is called Patterson and is in Putnam County.[2] Her youngest known child was born in 1769.
