He is survived by a widow and several grown children. Husband Denies He Threatened Wife

When Frank Merryman was arraigned in the Alexandria police court yesterday morning, charged with failing to support his wife, he entered an emphatic denial to her statement that she had been forced to leave their home. Mrs. Merryman said she was married to the defendant nearly three years ago, and that she had been forced to leave him March 3. Since which time he had failed to provide for her.
