  • Anne was christened 28 September 1901 in St. John, Walworth, Surrey, England [1]
  • in 1913 she Immigrated to Chatham, Ontario, Canada. The Francis Jacobs family arrived at the Port of Quebec City, Quebec, Canada in May aboard the ship Sicilian [2]
  • in 1921 she was working at the American Pad & Textile Co[3]. (the pad factory), they made collar pads for horses and cloth gloves and she, mother and sister were living at 102 1/2 Harvey St with William Paddon's family [4]
  • on 28 July 1923 she married Alfred Henry Ashton in Chatham, Kent, Ontario, Canada. He is the son of Thomas Edward Ashton and Susan Robinson [5]
  • their children are Margaret Florence 1924 and Alfred William 1925 [6]
  • Anne died 21 September 1982, and is buried at the Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham, Ontario, Canada. [7]
