Abraham was born in 1803 at Erikstad, Melum.[1] He was the son of Jacob Jonsen Stavdal / Erikstad and Berte Gundersdatter.[1]
He was confirmed on 9 April 1820 in Solum.[2]
He married Aslaug Maria Pedersdatter (daughter of Peder Halvorsen Ytterbø / Aamtvet and Anne Jørgensdatter) on 29 December 1836 in Holla.[3]
As of 1840, 2 children are known:
- Berte Marie Abrahamsdatter, born on 15 May 1837.[4] Died young.
