Biography
Gaetano Jaconelli was born in San Biagio Saracinisco 23 March 1890. He came to Sweden with his parents, in January 1903. They arrived from Berlin. The family was initially registered in the non-territorial Roman Catholic congregation of Göteborg.[1]
When they were transferred to the register for Masthugget in 1911 the three eldest children of Salvatore and Maria Assunta Jaconelli - Gaetano, Giovanna and Felice - seem to have lived together, separately from their parents. Gaetano Jaconelli was transferred to the list of absentees in June 1914[2] but re-entered in Masthugget in December the same year. He was a spelman - a street musician.[3][4]
Gaetano Jaconelli moved from Göteborg to Stockholm in 1936.[5] At the time of the census 1914 he lived in Maria parish, Stockholm and worked in the Icecream factory Puelli & Jaconelli.[6]
Gaetano Jaconelli never married. He died 20 May 1952[7]
