Katharina (Jaeger) Zulauf has German Roots.
Family #153 in the 1798 Grimm census.
There was only one Jäger family in Grimm in 1775, and she is not listed in it as a child born in 1771. She must have been born in another village. Because her husband worked in Seelman at the time of the 1798 census, it's possible he met and married her there. I don't have a copy of the 1775 Seelman census to verify or discount this possibility. There is no Seelman family listed in the 1798 Seelman census, nor is there one in the Grimm census, beyond Katharina Jäger's name as the wife of Johann Adam Zulauf.
