In 1861 Mary lived with her parents and sibling at Wolverhampton Lane, Darlaston Staffordshire.[2]
In 1871 the family had moved to Merrington Lane, Durham, Her father, an iron worker was head of the household when the census was taken and at home were Mary's mother, Mary, and two of her brothers and a younger sister.[3]
Mary married William Williams on 13 February 1875 at Tudhoe Parish Church, Co Durham.[4]
In 1881 Mary and William lived at 30 Quarry Street, Wingate, Durham and had a five year old daughter, Ada. [5]
In 1891 they were living at 41 St Johns Terrace, Normanton, Yorkshire with their son Thomas and daughter Rose.[6]
In 1901 Mary was at Fincks Buildings., Hemsworth, Yorkshire with four of her children. Her husband, William, was not at home on census night.[7]
By 1911 they had moved to 2 Milton Street, Wombwell, Yorkshire where they stayed for the rest of their lives. With them on census night were their youngest son, Alberta and their granddaughter. George Gracy a traveller in cloth from Scotland was also staying with them. .[8]
Mary passed away on 15 October 1917 at 2 Milton Steet, Wombwell, Yorkshire.[9] She was buried on 18 October 1817 in Wombwell Cemetery, Yorkshire.[10]
