Biography

Lewis Burnett James was born 30 September 1913^[1] at Caroline County, Virginia, United States. He was the son of George James and Caroline "Callie" L Marshall.^[2]

Lewis James married Ora Geneva Thompson Morgan on 5 June 1951 at Fredericksburg, Virginia, USA.^[2] They had one child:

• Miriman Jewel (James) Gayle (1953-2002)^[3]

He passed away on 1 November 1971 at Fredericksburg, Virginia.^[1][4] He is buried at the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in Spotsylvania, Virginia, USA.^[5]
