Rachel was born in 1807. She passed away in 1900.
Rachel James (Jems) was born in Shillingford, Oxfordshire, England on the 10th of August 1807. She was christened in the Warborough Parish on 26 November 1809. We found and saw her name in the actual Warborough Parish records but it was spelled "Jems" with a footnote that "relatives usually spell this name James". She died in Salt Lake City, Utah and is buried in the Salt Lake City cemetery at 200 North Street, Salt Lake City, Utah and her grave location is S_38_7_1W. Her tombstone inscription shows she was born in 1805 and death as 1900. We have seen the actual record of birth and christening. The people in Oxfordshire actually brought the original journal out on a pillow and insisted that we use white gloves to even touch it.
