- 2. After the death of her first husband, Ruth (James) Harris married Joseph Moore as his 2nd wife, "a gentleman of Southampton" on 26 Oct. 1704. [5] Ruth and Joseph had two daughters who were born after 1698. [6]:

Death
- Ruth predeceased her 2nd husband Joseph Moore, who married a third time after the death of Ruth. It is believed she died about 1723 in Southampton, Suffolk, Long Island, New York. [7] Joseph made his will in 1723. [8]
