Biography
William was born in 1810 in Eaton, Bishop, Herefordshire, England. He was the son of Phillip James James and Mary James.
He married Elizabeth Thomas in 1831.[1] Their family lived in Breinton, Herefordshire, England;[2] William worked as an agricultural labourer.[3]

- He is missing from their household in the 1851 census record.
- This cannot be correct if he passed away in 1866.
- In the 1881 census William (age about 71) was living in Market Lavington, Wiltshire, England.
