In 1881 Annie is living with her parents in Yeathouse Road, Arlecdon. Her father James is working as an iron ore miner. [1]
The 1891 England and Wales Census shows the whole family at Egremont. Annie is a dressmaker and Margaret is a pupil teacher. Sedwell is merely described as a daughter. [citation needed]
