JAMES-KINGSTON WEDDING
Coffs Harbour Methodist Church was the scene of a very pleasant celebration on Saturday, April 8 last, when the wedding took place of Betty May, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C Kingston, of Coffs Harbour and Trevor Vincent, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. James, of Dubbo.
The bride, escorted by her father, entered the church to the accompaniment of the organ, played by Miss Shirley Brodie.
The bride's dress was unusual in coloring, being of pretty blue hail spot marquisette over blue satln. A finger tip veil was held in place by a coronet of baby red roses. The bouquet was also of baby red roses.
The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr. Jack James.
Mrs. C. Stennett, sister of the bride, acted as Matron of Honor. Mrs. Stennett's dress was of pale pink marquisette over pink satin and she carried a bouquet of pink and lemon gerberas.
The Rev. J. U. Fullerton performed the ceremony and afterwards was chairman at the reception, which was held in the Methodist School hall.
About fifty guests were received by Mrs. C. Kingston and Mrs. J. James the latter acting for the mother of the bridegroom, who was unable to be present.
The happy couple left after the breakfast for a motoring tour of Northern NSW and Queensland. The bride travelled in a powder blue lightweight suit with navy accessories.

Together they had 3 children.
