Mary Stephenson was enumerated at Flat Rock, Barnes, DeKalb County, Georgia for the July 16, United States Census, 1870. She was noted as born 1828-1829 in Georgia and keeping house as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are male Moses R Stephenson, male Henry D Stephenson, male John C Stephenson, male Josiah J Stephenson, female Sarah S Stephenson, male William J Stephenson, male Thomas R Stephenson, female Martha A Stephenson, male Bennoni Stephenson, male Jonah Stephenson and female Margaret E Stephenson.[2]
