Charlotte James was born on 29 March 1840 in Trewellard, St Just in Penwith, Cornwall, England; her birth was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1840 in the Penzance Union district. Her mother's maiden name was Roberts. Her parents were Elizabeth and Noah James.[1] She was baptised as daughter of Noah James & Elizabeth on 22 April 1840 at St. Just in Penwith.[2]
Charlotte James (21) married Richard Warren (21, miner) on 1 March 1862 in Pendeen, both living in Trewellard. His father Richard Warren was also a miner, and her father Noah James was an innkeeper. Their marriage was registered in the Jan-Feb-Mar quarter of 1862 in the Penzance district.[3][4][5]
Her husband Richard Warren died at age 26 in 1866, as registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1866 in the Penzance district.[6] and he was buried on 19 November 1866 in Pendeen.[7]
Their son John Warren (23) married Amy Noake (24) on 30 September 1890 at St John's Church in Pendeen. His father Richard Warren was deceased, and her father was Edwin Tolbort Noake, general dealer.[8]
Charlotte (James) Warren died in 1918 at age 77 in Pendeen, as registered for the Jan-Feb-Mar quarter of 1918 in the Penzance district.[9] She was buried on 3 January 1918 in Pendeen.
