Pansy May James was born at Princeton, Maine, 26 Jan 1908, the daughter of Merton James and Georgia Ann Dodge; [1] died at Bangor, Maine, 15 Nov 1991, [2] and is buried in the Princeton Cemetery; [3] married at Center Conway, New Hampshire, 26 Oct 1933, Franklin F. Elsemore, son of Eben Elsemore and Elizabeth Kelley. [4]

Princeton - Pansy J. Elsemore, 83, died Nov. 15, 1991, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Jan. 26, 1908, at Princeton, the daughter of Merton and Georgia (Dodge) James. She taught commercial courses in the Princeton High School for 27 years. She is survived by her husband, Franklin F. Elsemore of Princeton; one son and daughter-in-law, Dennis F. and Helen Elsemore, also of Princeton; one brother, Virgil James of Portland; one sister, Florence Boynton of Houlton; three half-brothers: Francis James of Island Falls, Richard James of Maine, and Merton James of Massachusetts; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor James Kesel, 1 p.m., Tuesday, at the Princeton Baptist Church. Burial will be in Princeton Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from noon until the time of service. The family requests that those who wish may donate in her memory to the Princeton Baptist Church or the Princeton Congregational Church. Arrangements by the Scott-Wilson Funeral Home, Calais.
