Biography
James Jamieson was born around 1840, the youngest son of Janet Jamieson and George Jamieson.[1][2]
He migrated to Australia around 1854.[2]
On 16 November 1864 he married Martha Susanna Nunn in East Melbourne, Victoria.[3][4] Their children were:
- Margaret Louisa Jamieson (1866–?)[5]
- James George Jamieson (1868–?)[6]
- Jessie May Jamieson (1870–1944)[7]
- Fanny Ida Jamieson (1872–1946)[8]
- Walter Twycross Jamieson (1874?–1939)[9]
- Frank Forrester Jamieson (1876–1963)[10]
- Edgar William Jamieson (1878–?)[11]
James died on 20 June 1913 in Hawthorn, Victoria, aged 73.[1][2]
