Biography
Archibald Gillis (48) is on the 1891 census with wife Sarah (40) and their children; Neil (19), Mary A (18), Catherine (17), Isabella (15), Elizabeth (13) and John (11).[1]
Peter MacLeod, son of James, married Mary Anne Gillis, daughter of Archibald Gillis of Upper South West Margaree, and his wife, Sara, daughter of Godfrey Jamieson.[2] Mrs. Peter MacLeod died on the 4th of February, 1936.
