Biography
William Henry Harrison Janes was born in 1840 to William Janes and Magdalin "Maggie" (McIlvoy) Janes.
With his brothers, he enlisted as a private in the Confederate Army serving in Co. E of the Waul's Texas Legion[1]
He married Sue Elizabeth Webb on Oct. 24, 1877 in Cherokee Co., Texas.[2] on 7 May 1862 at Richmond, Fort Bend, Texas.
Together they became the parents of Dezzie Thomas Janes.
William passed away on Apr. 23, 1913 in Leroy, McLennan Co., Texasburied at Bold Springs Cemetery in West, McLennan Co..
