Biography

Leslie Theo Janney was born on 7 Feb 1890 in Marshall Township, Richland, Wisconsin, the son of Lot Janney and Margaret Fogo. ^{[1] [2]}

In the 1900 census he was 10 years old (born Feb 1890) and living in Dayton town, Richland, Wisconsin with his parents. ^[3]

In 1910 he was 20 years old and he and his mother were living with his sister Mary, her husband and children in Dayton, Richland, Wisconsin. ^[4]

In the 1920 census he was 29 years old, and living with his mother and the family she worked for in Richland County, Wisconsin. ^[5]

He died on 23 Jul 1927 and was buried at Fancy Creek Cemetery in Gillingham, Richland, Wisconsin. ^[6]

Research Notes

• His gravestone photo on FindAGrave shows his years of birth as 1894, but that appears to be incorrect, and conflicts with his birth record, and the 1900, 1910 and 1920 census.
