Biography
On April 16 1752, Alke Jans daughter of Jan Haijes and Geesijn Engels of Smeerling married Mense Jans of Onstwedde. It seems Mense's aunt Geertjen Menses was married to Alke's uncle Geert Haijes, and they had a house in Smeerling that they gave to Alke and Mense.
Children: Geertje (March 12 1753, married Harm Jans Timmer), Jan (April 21 1755, married Janna Wubbes Sijmens), Geert (June 6 1763).
