Biografie
Aukje Jans, later vaak als "Aukje Jeens" gespeld, is waarschijnlijk in 1769 geboren.
Ze trouwde in 1797 met Dirk Ploegsma. Ze kreeg kinderen met hem tussen 1798 en 1812.
Dirk overleed in 1832.
Op een later moment, in 1847, woonde ze als weduwe in Rauwerd.
Ze overleed in 1855. De kinderen die toen nog leefden waren Wijnand, Neeltje, Johanna, Heiltje en Jentje Durks.
